In 2024 writer Martin Dorey and his wife Lizzy cycled from Tavistock to the Algarve with surfboards.

Guided by stories from first generation surfers, many of whom came from Bude, they cycled and surfed their way along the Atlantic coast, covering 3400 km in 3 months.

Martin, in conversation with Chris Pringle, talks about the highs and lows of the journey as well as some of Bude's surprising connections with historic moments in surfing.
