Schumann Plus Piano Recital - Joseph Havlat

The Australian pianist, Joseph Havlat, returns to Mayfield to present an atmospheric programme of music by Robert Schumann.

The emotionally creative soundworld of Schumann is augmented by the music of Michael Finnissy, who celebrates his 80th birthday in 2026, and Finnissys former pupil, the Canadian composer Cassandra Miller.Joseph Havlat is highly regarded for his exceptional virtuosity, his prowess as a leading interpreter of contemporary music, his versatility as a composer and chamber musician, and his ability to perform a wide range of repertoire with both technical brilliance and deep sensitivity.The programme includes Schumann's Scenes from Childhood, Ghost Variations, and Night Pieces.A 10% discount is offered if tickets are bought for 5 or more separate Festival events in a single booking - just select your seats and then ' Continue shopping '.For those aged 25 and under, tickets are only 5.A pay bar will be open before the concert and during the interval (cards accepted).Please note that users of large mobility aids (such as wheelchairs or walking frames) must only purchase tickets for one of the designated seats in the Mobility Assistance section.
