DEAD HORSE ONE (France)
"Shoegaze of the third millennium" - Rolling Stone
Active on the European shoegaze scene for over a decade, Dead Horse One craft a powerful blend of heavy shoegaze, grunge, and slowcore.
Over the years they haveshared the stage with iconic bands such as Ride (with Mark Gardener having mixed two of their albums), Slow Crush, The Armed, and Nothing.
Their latest release is a split cassette with Pittsburgh-based band Threaded, a transatlantic collaboration that underscores their commitment to the global shoegaze community.
For fans of Deftones, Nothing, Failure, Ride, My Bloody Valentine
GRUNGERS
Support comes from our very own.......
Grungers. A fever-dream fusion of grunges raw, bruising power, laced with the slow, stoner- rock sway of a thousand dirty grooves. Picture this: the ferocity of Soundgarden colliding with the gritty charm of Queens of the Stone Age, while Iggy and the Stooges drunkenly high-five King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, all locked in some sort of high-voltage jam session. Riffs that could knock the breath out of you, grooves that drag you into the abyss, vocals that hit you like a freight train when all wrapped together...this is the soundtrack to your meltdown!
Born in the chaotic, smoke-filled corners of the underground, Grungers rose from the wreckage of an earlier band like a phoenix high on distortion and desire. The brainchild of two long-time misfits Matt and Killa who found their third wheel in Chris Hayden, the drum slinger from Florence and the Machine, this band doesnt give a damn about fitting into neat little boxes. From the first note, their live shows became a frenzy, a full-throttle assault on the senses. Headlining sold-out nights at The Hope & Anchor and The Slaughtered Lamb, tearing through packed rooms at The Water Rats, the Dublin Castle, and Camden Underworld, theyve taken audiences on a wild ride. And lets not forget the night they warmed up Brixton Academy for Feeder
