Double bill.Q+A and HOWL double bill.We are Rosa Brook and Hannah Whiteway.

Recent graduates from Rose Bruford Actor-Musicianship MA, we'd like to share our independent research projects with you in an exhilarating double bill at London’s Theatre Deli, Studio 12, on Saturday 9th May.

Cabaret meets performance art meets gig theatre with a dollop of magic realism and unspeakability.Through the expanded structure of a Q&A, Rosa Brook catapults the audience into a bizarre, satirical and ambiguous world of oversized meat, dairy shrines and miniature haystacks.

Using electronic music-making approaches and a multi-sensory landscape, this interdisciplinary performance is rooted in the artist’s relationship with the audience and relies on their participation.

This dystopian cabaret offers questions relating to sex, gender and the capacity to speak to and from the “female” position.

Grounded in critical Western feminist theory and visual cultures, the audience labour (and laugh) to create the conditions of the female artist.HOWL is a gig theatre performance about a human desire to be wild, written and performed by actor-musician Hannah Whiteway.

HOWL is a story told through nature-inspired folk and post-punk music, visual art, poetry and performance; a human experience expressed through the lens of the wild, natural world.

What happens to us when we repress our animal instinct so forcefully we can hardly hear it anymore? And what will we HOWL once we choose to hear it again? Originally written as a concept album, HOWL is a musical exploration of what it means to become wild accompanied by a collection of visual art works that immerse the audience in the magic realism of Whiteway’s own abstract wilderness.
