Hartlepool Pride

Curious Festival is an award-winning annual celebration of LGBTQIA+ culture across the North East.

Founded in 2016, Curious Festival explores and celebrates Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual + culture through the arts.

Working in partnership with arts and community organisations across the region, Curious Festival’s exciting programme of events provides a safe space for LGBTQIA+ communities and allies to be Curious.

Creating a platform for LGBTQIA+ artists, creatives and young people to be visible, represented and celebrated.Pride Month is often celebrated with colourful parades, and there are a number of these taking place in the local area.

While Pride Month is usually celebrated in June due to its origin in the New York Stonewall riots which took place in June, in the UK Pride events take place throughout the year.

Attracting over 5,000 attendees and now in its 3rd year.
