Soloist Xu PengFor the closing of the 2026 Festival, Mayfield offers a feast of colourful music. From late-Victorian England comes Hubert Parrys Blest Pair of Sirens, a lush choral setting of words by John Milton. Haydns Drumroll Symphony has been popular since it was premired in London in 1795; spoiler alert - it begins with a drumroll.
