Professor Dave Goulson, founder of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust, inspiring speaker, renowned conservationist and author talks about Saving Our Insects'.
Linking to our Green Shift Festival theme of 'Threads, Webs and Wonder - Reconnecting Nature, Soil and Community,' he will discuss the reasons behind declining insect populations in the UK and the links between food, farming, wildlife habitats and gardens. His books include A Sting in the Tale; A Buzz in the Meadow; The Garden Jungle; and Silent Earth: Averting the Insect Apocalypse.
