Daniel Moult will play the restored 1884 Nicholson Organ of the Great Hall of Castle Ashby House. He is the countrys greatest exponent of the English Organ, and makes a very welcome return visit to Castle Ashby following his sold-out concerts here in 2022 and 2024.Daniel is an acclaimed international concert organist, Head of Organ Studies at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and architect and
presenter of the iconic series The English Organ (Fugue State Films).The programme will include well-known pieces - Bachs iconic Toccata and Fugue in D minor (BWV565), Mozarts London Suite (extracts) and Fantasia in F, Elgars Pomp and Circumstance March No.5, and Lemares arrangement of Bizets Carmen Fantasy.Castle Ashby House is an historic private home which is not normally open to the public. The House has very limited access for guests with mobility difficulties. Access to the Great Hall and to washrooms is only available via flights of stairs.
