The Stage Centre & Dance Centre Present Spotlight: a Musical Review

Tickets - £18The Stage Centre & The Dance Centre are delighted to bring the 2026 Showcase to The
Riverfront.Led by our stunning senior students across the two centres, we find ourselves at the
open dress rehearsal of the fictional ‘Cardiff Polytechnic Musical Theatre Society’ who are
Staging their summer production.Drawing on the farcical style of 'The Play That Goes Wrong’ we are introduced to the
society’s creative team and cast - some of whom are more demanding than others. From
42nd Street to Oliver to Wicked and The Greatest Show we are treated to an array of
wonderful musical theatre numbers from our Dance students in Ballet, Tap, Modern
Contemporary and Street Dance and our Stage school students who will be performing
Some incredible songs and musical theatre routines.The Stage Centre alongside our Dance School, The Dance Centre, trains over 150
Students a week from Pre-School through to Adult. Taught by an exceptional team and
led by Artistic Director Michelle Christina Daniels, the Centres have built a strong
Reputation of excellence in both training and performance with many of our students
progressing to top Conservatoires. Our Alumni now include Olivier Nominated and Bafta
