His comedy is rooted in the no-nonsense traditions of the working mens club circuit, but delivered with a thoroughly modern, upfront edge.Steering well clear of the surreal, Sean confronts everyday reality head-on, turning it into explosively funny, brutally honest stand-up. His material is sharp, relatable, and unapologetically directhallmarks that have made him a firm favourite with audiences across the UK.A regular on the festival circuit, Sean has appeared at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Glastonbury Festival, and Reading Festival. As a well-established headliner, he performs at all major comedy clubs nationwide and is a regular host for Jongleurs.Highly in demand as a writer, Sean has worked extensively in radio comedy, including regular collaborations with Johnny Vaughan for the Capital Radio. He spent two years writing and performing on Capital FMs Birmingham drivetime show and also worked with Heart FM in Birmingham.Sean also provided the voice of Black Country Bob on both stations, fronted by Ian Danter of Talk Radio.Opening the night Meryl O'RourkeAcclaimed stand-up comic and accomplished TV writer Meryl O'Rourke, revels in her bitterness. Die!' he calls Meryl "Inspiringly funny".Meryl's cheeky routines of dysfunctionality get her choice gigs with major promoters. These include Up the Creek, Screaming Blue Murder, Off the Kerb, Banana, Comedy Company and The Funny Side; amongst many others. She performs 20-60 min sets, MCs and is also a popular choice for private parties and corporate events. Her solo stand-up show Bad Mother was a hit at Edinburgh and Brighton festivals. Directed by Foster's Comedy Award nominee Thom Tuck, it received 5-star reviews and was The Times Critics Choice.YOUR MC - MATTHEW BAYLISMatthew Baylis has travelled the globe with his own distinctive brand of unashamedly middle-class comedy, sharing sharply observed stories of growing upand growing oldin the leafy suburbs of middle England. With over half a decade on the comedy circuit, Matthew has gigged alongside some of the biggest names in UK comedy, including Harry Hill, Milton Jones, Andy Parsons, Reginald D Hunter, and Kevin Bridges, among many others. He has performed extensively at comedy clubs and festivals across the UK, as well as internationally in South Africa, New Zealand, and Australia.A father of six, Matthew draws heavily on the absurdities and realities of parenthood, delivering material that resonates with audiences of all ages.
