NAFCo Gaila Kirdiene - Lithuanian Fiddle Workshop

During the workshop, Gaila Kirdienė will teach participants to perform folk fiddle music recorded in the interwar period in northern Lithuania: a wedding march and three or four dances.

This fiddling style typically features two or three voices.

Kirdaitė (fiddle) and Arvydas Kirda (bandonion) will assist with the instruction.

We will also demonstrate the choreographies of the dances.
