The monastic life came to an end in 1538, leaving an indelible stamp on the life and ministry of this Cathedral.
In celebration of a tradition that speaks powerfully to the needs of our world today, this summer Norwich Cathedral hosts a series of eleven lectures on the Benedictine tradition in many facets of historic and contemporary life.The third lecture is given by Dr Jessica Barker and Dr Ed Krma, Curators of the exhibition "Living by the Rule", Sainsbury Centre for the Visual Arts, UEA.
