Without Malice Or Ill Will

Without Malice Or Ill Will is a one-man play written and performed by Ray Castleton.

It tells the story of Geoff Marsh who, at the age of sixteen, started his working life as a coal miner.

Ten years later he joined the police force then, ten after that, found himself facing his old colleagues and his entire community across the picket lines of the 1984/85 miners strike and at the infamous 'Battle of Orgreave'.

Now, exactly forty years on, Geoff is retired and free of the constraints of the uniform so he's free to tell his story with no punches pulled.
