Our annual partnership lecture with Scran. Using archive records we’ll explore the story of a close-knit community and discover the events which inspired Compton MacKenzie’s classic Scottish tale, ‘Whisky Galore’ and go behind the scenes of this comedic cinema classic. Jackie Sangster is Learning Manager at Historic Environment Scotland who works with archival records including Scran.ac.uk.
