Trish Clowes and Ross Stanley bring their thought provoking music and distinctive interplay to Firth Hall. They have been developing their repertoire and crafting their unique sound world over a number of years, built around a diverse range of music - their own material, arrangements from jazz, folk and church organ traditions and free improvisations. The duo’s performances include Wigmore Hall, Royal Festival Hall and Cheltenham Jazz Festival and often include music by Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and original compositions, two of which are dedicated to Clowes and Stanley’s respective heroes, Wayne Shorter and John Taylor.
