Tilka - Devising Movement (workshop)

In this workshop, Naqiya Ebrahim will lead an exploration of how to devise movement-based performances using your own lived experience. Whether youre working on your own piece or simply want to explore, join Naqiya to develop your practice in a safe, inclusive and supportive space. Youll spend time warming up and getting moving, playing with stimulus and learning new techniques for creating narrative through movement.

The exercises are inspired by the participatory approach to theatre developed by Seenaryo, an organisation with whom Naqiya has been working for nearly 10 years. Seenaryo co-creates imaginative, collaborative and powerful theatre with under-served communities in Lebanon and Jordan.
