The 2024 Fèis an Eilein will open with a brand new Puppet Picnic Parade!!!

Gather at Kyleakin Pier at the end of Meuse lane at 11am. Bring your puppets, costumes and all, and join in the parade or support from the sides as we set out with our Mythic beasts and legends to Kyleakin Community Hall, where waits a family fest with facepainting, games, Skye circus and music with a headline slot from the Big Field Blues Band underneath our stretch tent. Bring a picnic and join us for an afternoon’s entertainment from 12pm – 4pm!

Thereafter join us for an opening night ceilidh and an island wide celebration of music and performance running from July 19th to the 1st August 2024. We are thrilled to have some of Scotland’s finest artists visiting Skye over the festival, ranging from Ceilidh to Dub Reggae, Classical to Contemporary Folk and Traditional music
