Kurt Weill (1900-1950) has left us a legacy of songs that are quite unique: beautiful melodies, and lyrics that mix humour and biting satire in an authentic and instantly recognizable style. This programme brings together some of his lighter pieces, and adds a couple of gems by some of his famous contemporaries.
