The Breath Of Freedom The Bloomsbury Group’s Challenge To Convention

Nicholas Murray, author of Real Bloomsbury and Bloomsbury and the Poets brings together a group of writers and actors in a programme combining readings and live music, based on the words and stories of the writers and artists of the Bloomsbury Group. All saw themselves as trying to breathe more freely within the restricted conventions of their time, frequently clashing with more conservative ideas and championing personal liberation.
