Talisman Fringe at the Holiday Inn

Join us on the 2nd May for a thoroughly enjoyable voyage of artistic discovery. Chris Carpenter and her team have complied a wonderful mix of, drama, comedy, poetry and song, all revolving around the theme of ‘Trains, Boats & Planes’.

We'll be visiting: ‘Ruby and Pearl’ written by Jaye Swift. Directed by Kathy Buckingham-Underhill and performed by Rachel Tompkins and Seath Crook. Ruby and Pearl arrive home to celebrate a life defining cruise.

There will be poetry ‘En route’ from Bryan Ferriman, Kathy Buckingham-Underhill, Neil Vallence, Paul Sully and Chris Carpenter.

And our final destination will be at ‘Terminal 1’ written by David Payne. Directed by John Francis and performed by Jill Laurie and Colin Ritchie. George and Lynda are in an airport departure lounge, all flights are grounded. A funny and poignant play about embracing where you are and what is to come.

All will be spliced together with a selection of songs sung by Sally Jolliffe and Michael Barker.

Please do join us for ‘embarkation’ at either 7:30, or 9:00pm at the Holiday Inn. Our 7:30pm performance is proving to be very popular month on month so advance booking is recommended as once we reach capacity at the Holiday Inn we cannot accommodate walk ups - so get booking up quick!
