Stirling's Buried Street under the Thistles

To celebrate Stirling's 900th anniversary and Start Up Stirling's 30th year, The Thistles have agreed to a unique experience, a guided tour led by Dr Murray Cook of Stirling's hidden medieval Dirt Raw, sealed under the Thistles over 40 years ago and featuring access to the hidden section of the Thieves' Pot, an element of Stirling's City Wall, the best preserved in Scotland and built during the Rough Wooing to deter the English from forcing the infant Mary Queen of Scots marrying Henry VIIIth's heir.

All proceeds from this event go to Start Up Stirling.

Please note that this tour may not be suitable for people who dislike tight, enclosed spaces. Appropriate footwear is required, as some areas are uneven.
