Songs from the Last Page with Deirdre Graham and Gareth Williams

A brand-new musical celebration of Scottish writers and the world of stories created by Edinburgh-based composer and songwriter Gareth Williams and featuring Skye Gaelic singer Deirdre Graham

From Sherlock Holmes to Peter Pan, Songs from the Last Page promises an atmospheric evening of original songs inspired by some of the nation’s favourite books.

Drawing on chamber music and contemporary pop, this special performance at An Crùbh brings Gareth together with award-winning cellist Justyna Jablonska and violinist Stewart Webster. Together, they will perform a joyous, wistful, and inspiring programme that brings momentous works of Scottish and international fiction to life.

Especially for SEALL, the musicians will be joined by special guest singer, Deirdre Graham. Deirdre will be with Songs from the Last Page to give an intimate, live performance of her new Gaelic song commissioned for the project.
