Solent Concert Orchestra Music From Film

Themed "Music From Film" our Summer Concert will take place at Bramshaw Village Hall, at 7.30pm on Saturday 15 June 2024. Conducted by Simon Wilkins, the orchestra will be playing a selection of music featured in and composed for films, including 2001 Space Odyssey, The Mission, Fantasia, The King's Speech, Jean de Florette, Apocalpyse Now, Lord of the Rings, Rocketman, Apollo 13 and more!

The orchestra is a group of amateur musicians from the Southampton, Solent and New Forest area. It aims to give enjoyment to its members and audiences with performances of classical to light modern orchestral music, including symphonies and concertos, at least three times a year in the Southern Hampshire area.
