Restricted Code in Concert

Signed to Pop:Aural records, Restricted Code released three records, recorded John Peel and other BBC sessions and toured the UK with label-mates The Fire Engines, plus touring the UK and Europe supporting The Human League. Restricted Code enjoyed fantastic critical success and something of a ‘cult’ following. Paul Morley in NME picked them as “band most likely to…”, in 1981 Sounds music paper claimed they delivered the “best gig of 1981”. Since reforming with all the original members the band's live shows have been going down a storm ('Restricted Code keep it real in the best tradition of new wave.
