Requiem At Truro Cathedral

Experience Matthew Coleridge's beautiful and moving REQUIEM, one of the UK’s favourite new choral works, in the spectacular setting of Truro Cathedral, performed by the Requiem in a Day choir, with local soprano Kirsten Mulcahy and rising star of the cello, Jayden Lamcellari, conducted by the composer.

This concert in Truro is the culmination of a Requiem in a Day workshop led by Matthew Coleridge where around 150 singers will come together to learn and rehearse the work.

REQUIEM debuted in the ClassicFM Hall of Fame at #86 in 2023 and is one of the UK’s favourite new choral works. The work was recorded by the Choir of Royal Holloway and released on an album of Coleridge’s choral works in March 2023 to much acclaim, including a 5-star review in BBC Music Magazine, and was selected as ClassicFM’s Album of the Week.
