3rd part of our RAW! event series; focused on showcasing the most exciting and upcoming bands in the Post-Punk and Alternative live scene. Sweets brings a mash up of alternative, genre-blending production together with thoughtful, searingly honest lyrics. Dance and punk meet indie and hip hop in his portrayals of mental health struggles, thought provoking satire and often angry, often optimistic ideas about the present and future. On stage him and his band are fun, energetic and hard to turn away from. One minute youll be compelled to bounce and lose yourself dancing and the next you will be quietly contemplating what has just been said.
