A collaboration between Exeter Canal and Quay Trust, Art Work Exeter and Literature Works - cultural partners at Exeter Custom House, 2023-26.

The Custom House is the flagship building on Exeter's historic quayside and canal basin. Formerly the globally connected heart of the city's trade and industry, the area still houses a working boatyard and is an expanding hub of thriving, small businesses. With an official Heritage Harbour status bestowed in 2020, Exeter Quay is now an important leisure space for its citizens and visitors.

How can we make the most of Exeter Custom House as a cultural hub for this historic quayside?

Join us for a day of inspirational speakers, activities and conversations that will help us shape the future of the Custom House as a vital part of Exeter's heritage and cultural offer.
