New Year Gala Concert - Stage & Screen with the Shrewsbury Concert Band

We are delighted to welcome Shrewsbury Concert Band who will be presenting a programme of music from the STAGE AND SCREEN. It is the time when we want to invigorate ourselves for a New Year. Yes we know there going to be problems but put these aside and come and enjoy the night!

Conductor Ken Lumley told me that he was in Jersey when a similar programme was presented, and that some members of the audience came dressed as their favourite Character. They had an entertaining night and quite a bit of fun. So if Chicago was listed you might to come as Roxie, or Pirates of the Caribbean then you might want to come as Captain Jack Sparrow. Later we will be listing pieces of music selected.

Please note that we are not expecting you to come dressed as your favourite Character, but equally pleased to see you if you do.
