Moffat Walking Weekend

A three day festival of walking in and around Moffat and its spectacular hills and valleys. We have a multitude of walks to suit everyone, from challenging all day hikes and free and easy ambles, to family-friendly adventures and treks around town. All the walks are led by expert guides, including a Dark Tales of Old Moffat with the award winning team Mostly Ghostly and a bird watching walk with retired RSPB Chief Investigations Officer Dave Dick. All walks begin and end at our registration centre, St Andrew's Church, where we'll provide tea/coffee/cold drinks and cake. Some of the walks begin some way from town, but don't worry, we provide free transport to those locations.
