As old married couple William and Margaret approach the end of their lives, their memories come to life and we follow Billy and Maggie as they get married, honeymoon, set up work, and try for a family.

We follow this couple’s marriage as past and present intertwine at key stages of their lives. The secrets of a forty year relationship are laid bare in this haunting and beautiful tale of togetherness. All relationships have their ups and downs; the optimism of youth becomes the wisdom of experience. Love is a leap of faith.
