Lord Sackville's private garden open days

For only a few days every year, the doors of the Orangery are thrown open to reveal the 26 acre garden, which visitors can explore.

The garden changes with the seasons, so visitors can expect to see bluebells and blossom in spring. The fragrance of wisteria fills the air in early summer and the borders come alive with bright azaleas and rhododendrons. The colourful display continues into the summer months and visitors can also enjoy the scents of the herb garden. Then in autumn the trees turn shades of red and orange and there are often interesting types of fungi to spot.
