The band loosely termed the "house trio" has accompanied many great musicians over the years. This trio is now a band in its own right taking its name from the club, with a distinctive sound and edgy repertoire that we thought you would like to hear. This is stuff the trio have been working on for many months and so will sound even tighter and more rehearsed than usual, but combined with some free and easy improvising that only comes from playing to gather a lot in different bands over the years. From Chick Corea originals to lesser known Cole Porter tunes, originals to pop tunes re-mixed and re-harmonised (Oasis, Bill Withers), this is an eclectic and unique mix of tunes. As Christmas is coming we will be inviting one or two singers to serenade us with a couple of songs over the course of the evening to make sure it is not all too serious!
This will all be in the charming environs of the Corinthian Room at the yacht club with its own bar. There is usually food available from the chef, we will confirm nearer the time. Looking forward to seeing you there.
