Leyburn Jazz Collective Educational age/amateur performance
The Festival has always featured a free workshop for young people, directed by one of the performers. This year we've maintained this & extended it to include musicians of all ages. Young people's workshops have taken place in the weeks leading up to the Festival, & this morning they will present their work.
The Leyburn Jazz Collective will also play, a group of amateur & semi-pro musicians from the Dales, for whom Paul Edis has written a new piece to showcase their skills. Prepare yourself for a morning of fine music & good humour, with refreshments during the interval.
Tickets are free, but please book online for safety reasons. Donations requested to support the costs of the workshop project. Doors open 10.15am. You are welcome to join the audience at any stage, but please wait at the door to be shown to a seat.
