Based on the novel and smash hit motion picture, Legally Blonde: The Musical chronicles the journey of the famously perky Elle Woods, a UCLA sorority girl who finds her life turned upside down when she is dumped by her boyfriend, Warner. To prove to Warner that she is more than just some blonde sorority girl, she follows him to Harvard Law, where she struggles to fit in and do well. Upon finding out that Warner has moved on and found his 'serious' girlfriend, Vivienne, she embarks on her journey to prove to everyone not to judge a book by its cover.

Along the way, Elle befriends the TA, Emmett, and spunky hairdresser, Paulette, who support her as she begins outsmarting her peers and realizes that law may be her natural calling after all.
