My Girl The River - live band My Girl The River is a three-piece family band comprising songwriter performer Kris Wilkinson Hughes, Joe Hughes on bass and teenager Rue on ukulele and harmonies. Described as 'Nashville meets southern gothic' by AmericanaUK, they surf many genres and emotions. They have supported such artists as Caroline Spence and Suzanne Vega and performed at Black Deer and Isle of Wight festivals.
