Gillywood Live At Shrewsbury House

Described as acoustic country/folk GillyWood are two duos on the singer songwriter circuit. A chance to hear them performing two sets of their own songs plus cover songs from a wide range of artists including Fleetwood Mac and John Denver. GillyWood are: The Gillies - Susan Turner and Mark Evans and Pytchwood - Zahira Al-Zahira and Dave Kenningham. Susan plays tenor guitar, banjo and sings. Mark plays a Gibson J45 guitar and sings. Zahira plays a nylon string Lag guitar uke bass and sings. She also plays a number of percussion instruments. Dave plays guitar, Mandolin, Bodhran and sings. Plus a bit of Thunder Tube, spoons and whatever comes to hand!
