Gigha Dark Skies Festival

For an incredible view of some truly dark skies why not visit the easily accessible Isle of Gigha in the Southern Hebrides with its newly awarded Dark Sky Discovery Site. This two-day festival will feature dark sky stargazing, a state of the art planetarium, audio-visual presentations, robotic telescope workshop, meteorites and more.

No prior knowledge of astronomy is required for this event. Ferries run from the mainland on an hourly basis and accommodation on the island is available. While here, why not explore the island using the new ‘Gateway to Gigha’ path network which features stunning views in all directions.
