Georgian Food and Drink Weekends

Over four weekends at Quebec House we will be exploring different themes of Georgian food and drink. Join us and talk to our cookery volunteers, sample their bakes and learn more about this fascinating period in food history.

Saturday 30 & Sunday 31 March: This Easter sample hot cross buns and simnel cakes made to Mrs Wolfe's original recipes.

Saturday 25 - Monday 27 May: Find out about the history of coffee houses and enjoy the tastes and smells of coffee.

Saturday 24 - Monday 26 August: Relax on the lawns at Quebec House this summer and try 18th century drinks.

Saturday 26 & Sunday 27 October: Discover concoctions and cures with colour-changing drinks, an apothecary and more.
