French Boutik

Horay! French Boutik are back! Everyone's favourite 60's influenced Parisian modernist pop-machine French Boutik are rolling into Stourbridge for a Sunday afternoon special at Claptrap. Make sure you check out some of their music! They sound just like a cool 60's movie, with those mega catchy rhythms, melodies and harmonies. Michael Caine will probably turn up. They're THAT cool.

Support for the event comes from FLYING ANT DAY. The popular Stourbridge beat combo bring their spikey, high-speed, hybrid cocktail of 60s mod & new-wave, resulting in songs it's impossible not to like. Clever really, because the lyrics are probably about you... Flying Ant Day are stepping in (to the light) at the last minute in place of Sawel Underground, who are now unable to play.

Tickets are £5 (plus 50p fee) in advance, or £8 on the door. Doors are 2PM. I repeat 2PM. This is an afternoon affair finishing at around 6pm before Sunday Shenanigans Open Mic takes over at 7pm. Get a take-away and just drink straight through like us if you want.
