The New Garrett Theatre, are delighted to be staging Curtains The Musical.

Synopsis Packed with glorious tunes by Kander & Ebb, and a witty, charming book by Rupert Holmes, CURTAINS is a hilarious journey for both performers and audiences. With solid leads for several triple-threats and many plum roles for the featured ensemble, this classic Broadway book musical is ideal for school, community, and pro theatre groups. This hilariously suspenseful musical comedy whodunit is set in the brassy, bright, and promising year of 1959 when Bostons Colonial Theatre is playing host to the opening night performance of a new musical. When the leading lady mysteriously dies on stagethe entire cast and crew are suspects. Enter a local detective, who just happens to be a musical theatre fan! The Broadway production garnered 8 nominations at the 2007 Tony Awards including Best Musical.

This production is not recommended for children under the age of 12 years.
