With John Grant added to the notable Wrangler mix, Creep Show's debut album cultured collective years of talent into inspired commentary, all shaped by Ben “Benge” Edward's moorland analogue synth arsenal that could sink ships, Stephen Mallinder's Cabaret Voltaire tones and Phil Winters electronic wizardry.

If 2018's 'Mr Dynamite' cranked, flew and plunged abstractly through the dark corners of a world on the brink of being blitzed in a blender, Creep Show's 2023 album 'Yawning Abyss' has a distinct skip in its naturally-oblique-unhinged-electro-breakdance step. At times this show could well dare to creep toward feelgood.
