Ceramics Class: Wheel Thrown Kitchen Utensils with Rachel Corr

Fancy learning how to wheel throw and come away with some snazzy slip decorated kitchen utensils too?! Join Rachel Corr and throw your very own garlic graters, spoon rests and maybe even a utensil holder!

During this 4 week class you’ll learn how to center clay, pull walls and trim your creations into lovely functional wares. You’ll also learn how to gauge the different stages of drying clay ready for slip decoration. We will be slip-trailing, painting, sponging and scratching onto your creations. The designs can be very intricate or loose and expressive. Class participants are encouraged to experiment and have fun with it!

under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult.
