Bubbly River Concert

The RevIvel Association (www.RevIvel.org) is a local group determined to restore flow to our local river. You can play your part in caring for the river with your support for a lovely afternoon concert in St Mary’s, Baldock on May 12th at 5.30pm raising money for the RevIvel Association.

It is a wonderful programme with soloists and players from major London orchestras including Faure’s exquisite Piano Quartet no. 1 in C minor Op.15, Mozart’s graceful and beautiful Piano Quartet in G minor and Mahler’s piano quartet, a youthful haunting masterpiece. The performers are Cecily Ward , (Violin, a graduate of the Interlochen Arts Academy, Cleveland Institute of Music and San Francisco Conservatory of Music and Professor at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester), Judit Keleman (Viola, has played in Budapest Festival Orchestra, Malaysian Philharmonic and the BBC Concert Orchestra as well as regularly playing chamber music.), Catherine Wilmers (Cello, was sub-principal cello in London Philharmonic, took part in Film Lord of the Rings, acclaimed CD of works by British Women Composers and second album recently recorded with Jill), Jill Morton (Piano, sought after solo pianist with very popular YouTube channel, appeared as soloist with the BBC Concert Orchestra on Radio 2).
