LEZU transforms the Armenian alphabet into a multisensory performance of sound and visuals.
Using two custom-built controllers, one with sliders and buttons for rhythmic interaction, and another inspired by the duduk wind instrument, the system allows the alphabet to be played like music.Audio is processed in Ableton Live and paired with real-time generative visuals in TouchDesigner, projected onto layered tulle screens for an immersive experience.
The piece invites audiences to experience language as a living sound and visual form. These events take place in the SARC TV Studio.
Please meet in the main SARC Foyer.
