Midge Ure

Midge Ure, born James Ure, is a Scottish musician, singer-songwriter, and producer known for his work in various bands and as a solo artist.

He gained prominence in the 1970s and 1980s, particularly with the bands Slik, Rich Kids, Visage, and most notably, Ultravox.

Ure is also recognized for his co-writing and production of the charity single "Do They Know It's Christmas?" and his involvement in organizing Band Aid, Live Aid, and Live 8.
