The Bhavan presents Summer School Showcase 2026: Kathak Recital by Sushmita Ghosh

Sushmita Ghosh will present a Kathak recital at the Bhavan as part of the Summer School teachers' concert series 2026.About the artist:
Sushmita Ghosh began training in Kathak at the age of eight at Kathak Kendra, New Delhi, under renowned gurus including Tirath Ram Azad, Reba Vidyarthi, and Munna Shukla, and was deeply influenced by the work of Rohini Bhate. She leads the Aakriti Foundation in Gurgaon and was Bhavans Kathak teacher in the late 1990s.
