In between you’ll walk beside Sheffield’s supertrams, circle its unusual cathedral and a Georgian Square from Paradise, pass an imposing Town Hall, the celebrated Crucible Theatre and the wonderful Winter Gardens. Something for everyone!Walk 2: Town Hall to Fabulous City View - 1 mile / 1.6 kmsFrom the Town Hall this walk takes you first to the City Hall, a modern venue for special events. Descend now down the ‘gold route’ to Sheffield station, past modern university buildings sporting modern poetry, and a Cutting Edge water feature. Traverse the station and the Supertram tracks to ascend a hill with an unusual amphitheatre, ending at enchanting gardens with absolutely stunning views over most of Sheffield.Both walks are wheelchair and buggy friendly, though small diversions may be necessary.Available as a handy booklet or instant download (perfect for mobiles or home printing).
