Women in Wartime better damp than dead

During WW2 the lives of Newcastle women changed dramatically. Join us to walk the route of part of the Victoria Tunnel, above ground, from Claremont Road to Shieldfield, with stories of life for women both above ground and underground during the Second World War. Note we shall not be going inside the tunnel.There are some steps on this route which is not suitable for wheelchair users.
