A Talk on The Colour Blue by Anne Howarth: a guided talk at the Victoria and Albert Museum

Anne Howarth is a very knowledgeable guide and her talk will include: blue and white porcelain, blue in silk vestments, in carpets, tapestries, Medieval stained glass and glass vessels, manuscripts and portrait miniatures with blue pigments, a rare blue-decorated 18th Century German cabinet, an 18th Century French bed with its original pale blue silk hangings, an 18th Century pale blue embroidered gentleman's suit, the stone lapis lazuli and so on.
The tour will last approximately 60 minutes.
