Ceilidh for NESST

A fund raising ceilidh for NESST (Nether Edge and Sharrow Sustainable Transformation), a local community group that aims to increase the biodiversity of our area, enhance the green spaces and combat the effects of the climate crisis. Like-minded members of the NESST community come together and work collaboratively to maintain and improve the suburban environment in Nether Edge and Sharrow by increasing the volume and variety of wildlife habitat. We think globally and act locally, boosting biodiversity through a wide range of projects, including providing additional street trees, transforming underused green and brown spaces into wildflower meadows, and undertaking other habitat initiatives such as creating native hedges, monitoring declining sparrow populations, and providing swift boxes.There will be ceilidh dancing to the music of the Well Dressed Band, and a bar and raffle (cash preferred). All dances will be called, and no experience necessary. Just come and have fun!
Please bring food to share for a pot luck supper. You won't need to eat before you come. There is always plenty!
Please note that doors open at 6.30 pm, and dancing will start at 7 pm.
